About Me

I am a conscientious multi-talented Senior Graphic Designer with over ten years experience working on leading brands in Retail including FMCG, Gaming and Wholesale. As an integrated designer I have delivered creative and engaging solutions across digital, brand and print ranging from animated banners to page layouts for apps to OOH through to DMs gaining a wealth of versatile and competent skills in all areas.
I'm valued for being a passionate, collaborative ideas person with creative flair, I work well in a team but have recently been flying solo as the Senior Creative within a busy marketing team where I’ve often been a single voice in a sea of naysayers. I’ve developed a relaxed approach to pressure and feel comfortable presenting my work to all levels, understanding how to flex my behaviours and influencing skills.

I’m someone that thrives on delivering highly creative work in a fast-paced and fluid environment, yet still maintaining exceptional attention to detail. At Bestway no one day was the same. One minute I’d be designing new premium packaging for Bestpets, rebranding their Export business, conceptualising monthly retail themes to learning how to use After Effects to create video for a HR management training event. I have continued to learn After Effects for my personal development.

As Brand Implementation Designer I was part of the Brand team that successfully delivered and managed the most extensive rebrand that Ladbrokes had undertaken. Being the Brand Guardian for the Creative Design Team I was the ‘go to’ person for the business, providing all brand assets, critiquing both internal and external artwork to ensure brand consistency. This included designing and managing high profile Sponsorship events such as Cheltenham and The World Darts Championship. I have learnt that a company’s Brand Identity is key to their success.

I assisted in the development of the Creative Design Team briefing, workload and resources systems that helped improve efficiency, creative quality and increased design consistency, this included booking and prioritising jobs.
When I'm not working I love to cook, always trying out new recipes and cuisines. My leisure time consists of visits to the gym, pilates classes and long walks on a nice sunny day. When I'm not exercising or pottering about in the kitchen I enjoy watching a good film and love going to the theatre or visiting art exhibitions whenever I get the chance.

I am now looking for my next exciting challenge where I can demonstrate my wealth knowledge and skills but also learn and develop new ones. I believe I would be a valuable addition to any business.
